What is the Kitemark?
The PAS 125:2007 British Standard Kitemark is awarded to bodyshops who demonstrate compliance to the British Standard for bodyshops. The British Standard is very exacting, demanding the latest vehicle repair technology and adherence to manufacturer’s repair methods.
What this means for you, the customer?
This means that you have the reassurance of knowing that your car is safe, repaired properly to its pre-accident condition and will not lose value as a result of your accident.
Why it is important to use a Kitemark repairer?
Car manufacturer and vehicle technology is changing so rapidly that many car body repairers do not have the technology to repair vehicles correctly to their pre-accident condition. This can lead to incorrectly or insecurely welded panels or unsafe repairs, possibly putting your life at risk.
